The Niagara Region is looking to its economic future with a recent job posting for a new Associate Director of Economic Development.
The full-time position will be based at the regional headquarters in Thorold and the application deadline is June 19.

WHAT JOB IS AVAILABLE?
Reporting to the Region’s Director of Economic Development, the Associate Director position will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on strategic economic development initiatives that are aligned with the plans of long-term economic development to foster regional economic growth.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
A post-secondary degree in business administration, economic development, public administration, economics or an equivalent related field of study is required and a master’s degree is preferred. The position also requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership position in economic development or a related field, as well as previous experience in developing and managing the implementation of economic development strategies. long-term economic and commercial development.
