Some suggestions for the way forward include bringing together all AI researchers in the Arab region with a new center, encouraging learning and knowledge sharing between countries, and building a strong infrastructure with qualified people to support the use and development of AI.

A common Arab AI strategy “will enable Arab countries to develop valuable AI solutions, unify the region in the field of AI and enable all countries in the region to work together on the goals of (UN) sustainable development, ”Radwan said.
