At one point, The Good Glamm Group (GGG) struggled with the content-to-commerce model. Now, the startup is considering international expansion and plans to go public soon.

GGG grew from 600,000 customers in FY21 to four million customers in FY22. This fiscal year, it has already reached seven million customers.

Purchases:

  • In August 2021, the group acquired the parent and community platform BabyChakra for Rs 100 crore.
  • Between October 2021 and March 2022, GGG acquired 7 startups including The Company of Moms., ScoopWhoop and Miss Malini.
  • In March 2022, the party came to a temporary end with BabyChakra the acquisition of the social media assets of Little step.

Smart Freight Services

While working in the family business, Arham Partap realized that transporting bulk goods was tedious. To solve this problem, he launched a tech-first logistics startup Truckneticswhich connects shippers and carriers.

Its marketplace uses AI, machine learning, and other proprietary software to function as a central portal for frontloads and backloads.

Resolution for logistics:

  • Trucknetic aims to reduce idle running and improve asset utilization.
  • It provides a one-stop solution for all types of trucks and intra-city, inter-city and liner movements across India.
  • The startup provides visibility into backhaul loads, saves fuel costs and increases revenue per truck by 40-50%.

Hosting Events in the Metaverse

PartyNite is a metaverse platform focused on hosting virtual events and has ventured into theme parks, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI).

“PartyNite is all about bringing people together, building communities and providing personalized offers, where anyone can come to events and throw parties in the fanciest places,” said CEO and co-founder Rajat Ojha.

“India ka apna metaverse”:

  • Partynite has worked on VR experiences for AAA titles including Resident Evil, Battlefield, Gears of War, and more.
  • The startup has built artificial intelligence tools to quickly create avatars, speed up the animation process, and more.
  • Partynite has a reach in over 150 arcades and has IP addresses for popular games like Speedy Gun Savage and Kung Fu Dhamaka.
