Located in the new Westmead Innovation Quarter (WIQ) – a visionary center for research, health, education and business located in the Westmead Health Quarter, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Brain Science Research Program at the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behavior and Development, Western Sydney University.
The position is associated with Dr. Celia Harris’ research program that deals with memory retrieval in experimental cognitive controlled studies as well as in the field, including with older people in the community and with elderly residents. In this position you will be responsible for assisting with a range of research projects. Duties may include conducting literature reviews, preparing ethics applications for WSU HREC, conducting experimental cognitive behavioral research with participants on campus as well as in the field, transcription, data coding, quantitative and qualitative data analysis and report writing for publication and industry partners. You will work more broadly within the Institute as a member of the MARCS AgeLab, attending team meetings and contributing to discussions, and may also participate in the supervision of undergraduate and research students higher level (HDR) as needed.

The position is offered as a 2-year full-time fixed-term contract on the Westmead campus.
Remuneration: Academic level A $100,686 to $121,646 per year (salary $85,081 to $102,792, plus 17% superannuation and vacation).
