Himo World, an NFT-based strategy game developed by Kaofox Corp, has announced its launch in open beta. The open beta will go live in July 2022, giving players the chance to experience the most advanced iteration of the player versus player (PvP) title to date.

Himo World Open Beta

The free version incorporates features that have elevated GameFi into the world’s most innovative gaming vertical. Powered by BNB Chain, Himo World uses a create-to-win and compete-to-win model that rewards players for their time. A strategic match-3 game, Himo World combines roster-building elements to deliver a wide range of unique heroes with limitless skill combinations.

Available as both a mobile and web app, Himo World incorporates features that will appeal to players of all skill levels. Its hero progression system rewards repeated play, with roster synergies and leaderboard tiers designed to drive competition and ensure longevity. In addition to PvP mode, future releases will allow players to participate in rogue-like player versus environment (PvE) gameplay as well as many other exciting game modes.

The hero progression system allows players’ heroes to level up for the first time in Himo World. In addition to heroes leveling up, they can learn new skills, meaning players can now fill unlockable skill slots to allow more skills to be triggered. Genesis heroes, in addition to high rarity, can now learn up to 4 skills. Players can use play-to-earnold to unlock more hero skill slots at different levels.

Gold, a brand new in-game utility, will significantly contribute to the birth of the create-to-win model in Himo World. In the game, the gold earned after each match will be scaled to the player’s rating level. This latest GameFi model can help participants become active “creators” and unlock more untapped potentials in GameFi, which is the path Himo World aspires to follow.

The system will have eight ranking levels, including Beginner, Apprentice, Adept, Magnus, Disciple, Master, Grand Master, and Legendary, ascending. Each rank tier has five tiers in which players reach the required rank point and can receive specific corresponding rewards. Notably, more leaderboard tiers will be available in this open beta.

Himo World strongly believes in the potential of the creation model to win and competitive GameFi soon. The creators of this unique and creative strategic match-3 title strongly believe in the genre’s sustainable growth, in a future where the line between traditional gamers and Gamefi is indistinguishable, to help nurture a new competitive breed of players. This has been proven in the short term by an impressive influx of new users since the closed beta in May, as well as a very high retention and engagement rate so far.

Himo World is an NFT game that features deck building, strategy mechanics, and match-3 gameplay. It’s super easy to play, but unlike other casual match-3 games, it’s hard to master.

The game features free games, designs to win, and competitions to win. Other game modes include rogue-like PvE, seasonal ranking system, tournaments, token and item staking, and many more groundbreaking features to check out.
