Do you want to perfect your managerial skills? The David D. Reh School of Business at Clarkson University now offers three state-registered advanced certificates as part of the online MBA program. There is also a concentration option specializing in data analysis.
Students can now enroll in a Certificate in Human Resource Management, a Certificate in Management and Leadership, or a Certificate in Global Supply Chain Management.
The certificate program in human resource management will provide the training needed to make informed management decisions regarding human resource issues. The certificate holder will have the strategic critical thinking resources needed to optimize an organization’s human resources.
The Management and Leadership Certificate is designed to give entry-level and intermediate-level managers basic business skills in organizational processes, change management, resource management, and leadership. It aims to help managers and executives improve their management and leadership skills in order to positively influence their current organization and provide them with potential for career advancement.
The principles of supply chain management focus on developing continuous flows of raw materials, products/services, information and financial capital. The supply chain begins at the initial design process, includes raw material sourcing and logistics, and continues through to the delivery of that product or service to the end customer, with the goal of creating customer satisfaction at optimum cost.
The Reh School also offers a concentration in Data Analytics. These courses are designed to give you insight into the use of big data for strategic decision-making and provide an entry route to the MS, Applied Data Science program, where 9 credits of courses taken in the MBA can also be counted towards This program.
“These curricular changes reflect our continued commitment to meeting the needs of the market and the employers with whom we work closely. Our commitment to developing leaders is well known through the Reh School of Business, and we take great pride in preparing the leaders of today and tomorrow,” said Floyd Ormsbee, Vice Dean of Senior Operations at Reh School of Business.
The online MBA program was recently recognized as #11 in the nation by top business schools, as well as #37 by Fortune magazine. Designed for the working professional, enrollment begins four times a year, with a flexible schedule and one-on-one student support.
